Project Orion is progressing slowly but steadily. After a lot of thought about the front panel design, I've finally started working on it. The scrollsaw got to work a lot and my new Dremel Stylus got in handy too while working the aluminum.


Also the sidepanels got a nice touch. I sprayed the mesh grills metallic red to match the color theme. This will be applied throughout the casemod.

To complement project Orion, I have modded a desktop set in the style of the project. The Revoltec Fightboard and Fightmouse Advanced have received a new stylish metallic red look. Many thanks go to Listan for providing these peripherals.


The striped look was achieved by spraying only a very thin layer of red over the original coating, which includes the stripes. The metallic red was complemented by two layers of clear varnish.
